AIIM tests Chemfree “Greening” Plate System
As part of AIIM’s commitment to providing leading edge technology and the continued support of protecting our global Environment, AIIM has tested a state-of-the-art Chemfree Plate system.
This system provides the following significant advantages:
First, the ChemFree Plate System improves the quality of the plate in terms of dot gain and consistent dot retention. Ultimately these two refinements will improve the overall quality of the printed product.
Secondly, the ChemFree Plate System remarkably reduces the amount of chemicals and the toxicity of those chemicals by 66.7%. The processed waste has been cleansed to the point that it could be disposed right into the municipal water system, but given our continued support of “green” initiatives, AIIM will continue disposal through a licensed waste disposal company.
Sound environmental decisions will always lead to good future business. Not only is the new plate system substantially better for the environment, but it is also good business.
