1. What does AIIM mean?
   AIIM is an acronym for Avant Imaging and Information Management. 
   
2. Is AIIM a private or publicly owned corporation?
   AIIM is a privately held corporation by Mario and Frank Giorgio. 
3. Does AIIM have a quality assurance Program?
   Yes, AIIM’s manufacturing facility is ISO 9001/9002 certified. 
4. Is AIIM environmentally responsible?
   Yes, has been awarded the Chain of Custody certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). AIIM is currently working evaluating the ISO 14001 environmental certification. Click here for more information on AIIM’s environmental commitments. 
5. Is AIIM compliant with the privacy legislation act?
   AIIM follows the guidelines established in ISO 17792 for security and we are compliant with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Document Act [PIPEDA].
6. What kinds of printing services does AIIM offer?
   AIIM offers the following printing capabilities:
   
   • Sheetfed lithography – 1 colour to 10 colours for marketing collateral to promote a companies product or service.
   • Multiple version lithography- 1 colour to 4 colours for copy variations of changeable marketing collateral. 
   • Digital Printing- 1 colour to 4 colours for one-to-one targeted printing materials specific to individuals [direct mail].

8. Does AIIM have a presence in the USA?
   Yes, we are currently doing business throughout the United States at the same efficiency as our local clients. We have cross border shipments for collateral and direct mail products on a daily basis and we are represented electronically with our partners for print-on-demand at many of the major U.S. hubs which results in a local delivery for our clients. 
9. What is the longest run you can produce economically?
   All equipment has its’ optimum run length, so our account managers will work with you to determine the most viable run based on the size of the end product. 
10. Can I send you an electronic file of my document?
    AIIM offers a secure FTP site hosted at our offices with a 10Mbps download speed.  This is about 40% faster than a T-2 bandwidth to support all your file sizes.  Your account manager will have your private FTP account set up for you. 
11. What kind of document files would you like me to supply?
    PDF’s, Quark, in-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, Excel, Pagemaker, etc. Mac or PC.  If you send PDF’s your images should be set to CMYK not RGB and a 300DPI resolution.  Please be extra careful to send images close to 100% as images will pixilated if they are blown up too much. 
12. If I send my files to you via FTP what kind of proof would you supply?
    We can supply PDF proofs or if you like we can send a high resolution digital proof overnight for your approval.
